STILL Masterclasses grew out of STILL’s top-level experience.STILL operates in every side of photography and has developed under Denis Curti’s leadership. In recent years, it has gathered a unique, versatile mix of experiences, organising training courses, workshops and masterclasses for its customers.

Now STILL has launched a project setting out its own training vision. Students will gain access to a vast national and international network, obtaining a real chance to break into an expanding industry.

Masterclasses are aimed at all people who want to build on their knowledge of the different sides of contemporary photography, turning their passion into a profession. An innovative vocational education solution, in which the teaching of industry professionals helps acquire an all-round view of the photography world and its different fields and the latest developments shaping its future.

Masterclasses have been designed particularly for those willing to position themselves in the photography job market, acquiring skills, competences and critical tools to deftly fit into the wide contemporary production industry.

Today, photographers, picture editors, journalists, curators and collectors must be active, effective and acutely aware interpreters of the contemporary world that surrounds them. For that reason, continuous development is one of the key inspiring principles of STILL’s Masterclasses. Our tutors’ competence and experience contribute to guaranteeing the excellence of our training programmes.

Our method sees students work closely with tutors to jointly develop concrete creative projects. Students and tutors have a direct working relationship, which culminates in the creation of a final project.

The goal of STILL’s Masterclasses is to equip students with a modern, solid and innovative integration to their education and professional history, training them to face and interpret complexity and the changing needs of the contemporary photography world.
